On behalf of the Saltillo Independent School District, I would like to welcome everyone to our school district’s website. Saltillo ISD strives to achieve excellence in all aspects of education – in the classroom and in all extracurricular activities.

The community support for our school is tremendous, making the task of teaching children both pleasant and productive. Saltillo ISD is proud to have high quality teachers, administrators, and staff members working in partnership with parents to ensure the success of ALL students.

Saltillo ISD is proud of its many academic and extracurricular accomplishments. Over the past 13 years, Saltillo ISD has earned EIGHT RECOGNIZED District Ratings and THREE EXEMPLARY District Ratings, making Saltillo ISD one of the highest rated school districts in Texas.

In 2000, Saltillo ISD constructed a new elementary building and renovated the High School. We have outstanding facilities and state of the art technology resources for the students and teachers. A new practice track was completed in 2007. New score boards for the baseball and softball fields have been donated by Alliance Bank. A new baseball field was completed in 2008. Our state of the art Agricultural Science building was completed in 2009. Currently we are in the planning stage to update the entire campus and make needed improvement to the softball field.

Our family friendly area is attracting many newcomers and enrollment is expected to grow. Saltillo ISD is a great place for students and teachers. The present and the future are bright for our district. Together we will build upon our successful past and create an exciting future of opportunities for Saltillo ISD students.
