Update for Week of May 4th
Assignments are posted in their respective classes for Spanish I and Spanish 2 inside Google Classroom. The assignments are scheduled to appear in your GClassroom tomorrow Monday 4th at 8:00 am. Access codes are the same we have been using but here they go again just in case

Go online with your cellphone or computer and find information about any occupation/ profession you would be interested in. Read as much as you can about the following:
The characteristics of the occupation. What they do. How they do it. How long they work. Where they work.
Advantages and disadvantages of having such an occupation or trait.
Any other relevant information about the occupation.
If you don’t have internet available, interview any person in the family that has an occupation and get the information from that person.
The additional 8th period assignment requires the text- please contact school for packet to complete

ASSIGNMENT 1.
Go to YouTube.com and find the following videos about
topics we studied. Watch the videos. Note down some
words or phrases, at least 10 per video. Also, try to repeat
the words as you hear them. Copy the following links very
carefully and paste them into YouTube Search box.

Go to the book’s website that you already know: my.hrw.com.
Log in with your username and password and, once you are in the
Dashboard, click on Student Resources. Then click on Home Tutor.
Once in Home Tutor select Level A. Then on the left Menu click on:
Unidad 3-Leccon 1. Vocabulario – Flashcards. Practice with the
flashcards.
Then go to the Gramática section and do Práctica
Gramatica 1. Do only Level A, 3 pages.
****Important: Remember to
click on button Submit every time you finish a page or I will not
see your work done on my side.

SPANISH 2- PERIODS 5-6
ASSIGNMENT 1
Go to the book’s website that you already know: my.hrw.com
Log in with your username and password and, once you are in the Dashboard, click on Student Resources.
Then Click on Home Tutor, which is to the right of the Resources page. Once in Home Tutor select Level A. Then on the left Menu click on Unidad 1-Lección1- Vocabulario- Flashcards. Practice memorizing the words and saying them.
Then click on link Práctica and complete at least three pages on three levels. Do ONLY the Vocabulary section. Remember to click on the Submit button.
If you can’t log in due to password problems, email me, and I will reset your password. Don’t say you couldn’t do it because of your password.
Also, remember to click on the Submit button when you complete the page. If you don’t, I will not see your work done on my side.

ASSIGNMENT 2
1. Go to the following website: telemundo.com
2. Click on the link Noticias that is at the top black Menu bar. You will see a number of headings.
Copy the headings onto a sheet of paper. Then try to explain in English what the headings is saying. You do not need to translate word by word, but just give the idea of the heading. You can use Google Translate if desired. You should copy a total of 10 headings. Clear writing and spelling both in English and Spanish will count for your grade.
3. After you have translated the headings, make a list of the words in Spanish from the headings that you consider keywords, then translate them into English.
Since you have to use a sheet of paper for this, make sure you KEEP that paper to turn in when you return to school.
